- studied English Philology at Bayreuth Unversity and Free University of Berlin
- lived and worked in Great Britain and New Zealand for two years
- working experience in tourism, teleconferencing operations, writing of commercial texts
- based in Berlin, Germany and therefore in constant touch with the target language
